Mrs. Cardoso is the President and Director of Accreditation Services. After graduating Ultrasound Diagnostic School as a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist in May, 2005 Mrs. Cardoso went on to obtain three registry credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Registered Phlebology Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International. She also serves as an application specialist for the Cardiovascular Ultrasound division Northeast of GE Healthcare.Mrs. Cardoso is an experienced cardiovascular technologist having worked for numerous private, medical practices. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of laboratory function and has assisted laboratories in successful IAC accreditation since 2005. Through the implementation of Cardiovascular Credentialing Consultants’ unique, innovative system for accreditation Mrs. Cardoso not only assists her clients in obtaining IAC accreditation but also improving laboratory function and patient care.







dr1Eduardo J. Cabrita, RCS, RVS

Director of Business Development

Mr. Cabrita is Director of Business Development for Cardiovascular Credentialing Consultants Ltd. After graduating from Ultrasound Diagnostic School as a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist in January 1997, Mr. Cabrita went on to obtain dual registry credentials as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer and a Registered Vascular Specialist.

Mr. Cabrita has served as Technical Director for On-Site Cardiovascular Imaging INC and for Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick, PA. In these capacities he has gained decades of experience overseeing all aspects of Echocardiography and Vascular laboratories. Mr Cabrita brings this vast experience to Cardiovascular Credentialing Consultants’ clients assisting them in understanding their laboratories needs and in initiating and maintaining accreditation.

Eduard Marmut

Co-Director of Accreditation Services

Mr. Marmut is the Co-Director of Accreditation Services. He graduated Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, with bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, Cell Biology and Neuroscience in May, 2013. As a pre-medical student of a research school, he has attained extensive experience in the academic, clinical, research, and application processes of the medical field. Furthermore, Mr. Marmut has served as a registered Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Department Registrar, and a Medical Assistant for a cardiology practice, granting him an intimate knowledge of both hospital and medical facility protocol. Mr. Marmut utilizes this knowledge and experience to provide the clients of Cardiovascular Credentialing Consultants with the most comprehensive consulting services nationwide, regarding initial IAC accreditation as well as maintenance of IAC accreditation.







shafritzRandy Shafritz MD, FACS

Director of Vascular Services

Dr. Randy Shafritz received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 1990 from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in 1996 and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship Training in 1998 at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  He is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and participates actively in the training of general surgery residents and vascular surgery fellows. He specializes in minimally invasive treatment for both peripheral venous, peripheral arterial diseases and has extensive experience in the Management of Venous and Lymphatic Disorders. He was the first physician in Monmouth County, New Jersey to introduce the Radiofrequency Ablation Procedure into daily practice in 2004, now called the Venafit Procedure.

He lectures regionally and nationally on advanced treatment of venous disease, venous ulcers and has published several articles in the field of surgical treatments for venous disease.

Dr. Shafritz has gained extensive experience with IAC Vascular Testing implementation. He has established and was the Medical Director of several outpatient Non-invasive Vascular Laboratories at various hospital locations in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties in New Jersey over the last 10 years.  Currently he is the Medical Director of the Non- invasive Vascular Laboratory of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the Medical Director of the University Vein Center and the Director of Vascular Services for Cardiovascular Credentialing Consultants.
